Jennifer had planned to be induced on Monday. Funny how plans work out …
Her water broke early Saturday morning, she started pushing at 1 the following afternoon, and by 4:13, Collin was born.
Jennifer is one tough cookie {hello – three hours of heavy pushing} and sweet to boot {when she wasn’t pushing, she was thanking her doctor and nurses for being so helpful and cracking light-hearted jokes about the joys of all things labor}, and she and her husband Nate are incredibly in love. It was really amazing to watch them interact throughout the day and witness them, together, welcoming their new son.
A perfect little family.
Give me more Saturdays like this and I would be one happy camper.

I am the mother of Jennifer and I am seeing this for the first time and I am crying. What a beautiful family I have. I am so proud of them all. Collin is a beautiful little man. I love my daughter and my son in law so very much. I could not have asked for a better son in law he has made my daughter happy for so many years and now they have given the ultimate gift of love to each other and to all of us as well.
